Oneonta Gorge
This is an easy but
spectacular hike. It is
also unique in that there
is no trail. You hike
through the river. So I
do not recommend you
go in early spring as the
water would be way to
high. Late summer or
early fall would be best. I
first did this hike in late
August and had to wade
through waist high
water. So if you are
bringing cameras and
cell phones I suggest
putting them in
something water tight.
