Downtown Portland
Portland Oregon has a great
outdoor culture. We get rain
for most of the year so we
take full advantage of the
summer. And the summers
here are as close to perfect
as I have seen anywhere. In
the summer there is always
something going on
downtown. If you spend an
hour walking around on a
typical summer day you will
likely pass at least two
outdoor concerts. But even
though summer is the best
you will find people outdoors
here in almost any kind of
weather. I highly recommend
walking around downtown. It is
a great way to get in shape
for more challenging hikes. Or
just a pleasant way to spend
the day. This is a truly
amazing city.
