If you live in Northwest Oregon (Portland area) or Southwestern Washington then hikes with scenery like this are practically in your back yard. Oregon and Washington do a lot to promote hiking and camping and I recommend everyone take advantage of it. In this site I have listed the hikes I have been on. Most several times.
